Using the 5A’s Evidence Based Practice approach, you are to identify the most likely solutions to the scenario of your choosing by outlining the following:
Ask: Provide the most appropriate research question for the problem in the scenario you chose. Justify your question
Access: Search and synthesise literature to identify the most up-to-date interventions/strategies for achieving evidence-based practice
Appraise: Evaluate the quality of evidence identified using appropriate resources
Apply: Identify barriers and enablers of interventions you have identified by searching and discussing the literature
Assess: Identify and explain ways you would measure the success of interventions against the problem identified referring to the literature.
