3.Through application of critical thinking, clinical reasoning and reflection you are to explore the key concepts of delegation and scope of practice.
4.This is an academic assignment therefore academic standards inclusive of grammar sentence structure paraphrasing and APA 7th edition referencing style for both in-text citations and reference list.

LO 1. Critique the role of the graduate registered nurse including engagement in various dimensions of leader ship mentorship and preceptor ship and delegation to enrolled nurses;

ASSESSMENT DETAILS
You will be given two scenario questions:
You are to write a response to the two scenario questions. Include in your response an analysis of the management of the scenario incorporating theoretical concepts and principles and the relationship to nursing practice reasoning and presentation of rationales.

Scenario One – Transition in scope of practice from student to Registered Nurse:
For this scenario you are required to identify how your Scope of Practice will change from a student nurse to a Registered Nurse with regards your clinical decision making. How will you manage this change?

Scenario Two – Delegation:
This is an AM Early shift. You are a Registered Nurse (RN). You are working in a clinical area that uses Team Nursing. You are working with a Bank RN who is new to the area. You are the Team Leader. After bedside hand over you discuss with the RN the plan for today. The Bank RN says they are not comfort able looking after these patients due to the acuity and unfamiliarity of the environment. You note that two senior RNs are allocated to work together elsewhere on the ward. How do you manage this situation?

All written assessments must align to the following academic standards:
