This is an individual task. This assessment (2B) is a follow up task of the Assessment Task 2A where you prepared a plan for an information sheet on a medical condition for clinicians.

Being a nurse you are expected to communicate with clinicians Nurses GPs specialists or other allied health professionals about your patient’s medical condition(s) on a regular basis. This assessment task will help you to gain skills about what types of information you should include in an information sheet when communicating with a clinician.

To complete this assessment task you must develop an information sheet on a medical condition for clinicians Nurses GPs specialists or other allied health professionals which includes the following:

The intended audience for the information sheet is a clinician therefore the information needs to be credible up-to-date and sourced from evidence-based clinical medicine and applicable to the Australian context.

You should demonstrate high level of knowledge of medical terminology and advanced concepts of pathophysiological and physiological principles.
