Part A: Protect and assign copyright of original works
Part B: Licence rights to original works
Part C: Maintain copyright documentation

You will complete the assessment tasks in a real organisation (IH Sydney Training Services).

Required
You are required to demonstrate your ability to:

1. Confirm by seeking advice that original works have exclusive rights and are protected nationally and internationally
2. Research potential for the commercial use of original works
3. Negotiate and assign rights of a creative work to a third party made formal by contract
4. Negotiate and agree to licencing rights of a creative work to a third party made formal by contract
6. Maintain copyright documentation, in accordance with legal obligations and workplace policies and procedures

Timing
1. You may review this assessment task at the commencement of your unit.
2. You may start this assessment in the first week of the term
3. Your assessor will advise you of the due date of this assessment via Canvas and you must submit by the due date.

Note: Failure to submit by the actual due date will be marked as Late and recorded as an NYS.
