1. You will be required to access the NSQHS standards user guide and answer PR 1.
2. You will be required to access the Chisholm policy in regards to cultural safety and complete PR 2, 3 and 4.
3. There will be a session with an Aboriginal Liaison officer at Chisholm. You will be required to choose a cultural safety strategy to discuss with the Aboriginal Liaison officer. The discussion points you must cover are listed below.
4. Based on your discussion above develop a proposal to improve the strategy and discuss the additions with the Aboriginal Liaison officer. Discussion points listed below.
5. Based on your discussion feedback and evaluation of your strategy you will be required to design promotional material for use at Chisholm to promote your cultural safety strategy around the campus. Please upload this to Moodle.
6.Then write a reflection piece as requested – make sure to cover all the dot points.

You will be deemed to have satisfactorily completed the assessment when you have correctly responded to all the criteria to the required standard, in the assessment criteria listed below:

PR4. Outline one (1) strategy that promotes cultural awareness and cultural competency at Chisholm.

PR5. During the session with the Aboriginal Liaison Officer at Chisholm conduct a conversation to evaluate a cultural safety strategy you have chosen at Chisholm.

3. Identify one (1) aspect of the strategy that demonstrates how it integrates self-determination and community control in the facility.

PR6. From the feedback given from the Aboriginal Liaison Officer at Chisholm during your discussion make a proposal to improve the strategy. You will need to discuss your proposed improvement to the strategy with the Aboriginal Liaison officer. Write a 400-word paragraph outlining the input you received
from the Officer and critique your proposed amendments including

information you received from the Officer. You must include:

1. How your proposed change impacts on cultural factors that may influence the involvement of the Indigenous people.
2. Identify one (1) issue within your proposed change that may influence communication and relationships with Aboriginal people.
3. Explain how cultural safety is ensured in your proposed change.
4. Referring to the below document and your discussion with the Liaison Officer how can your strategy be improved in relation to community engagement and self- determination

PR7. Based on your discussion with the liaison Officer and evaluation design promotional material that incorporates your strategy for use at Chisholm. An example could be a brochure promotional video or poster. You must provide evidence here of your resource. You can take photos and upload them here provide a link to your resource or attach it as a separate document

PR8. Reflect on your work practices (including thoughts feelings and behaviours) generally over the past 3-5 years. If you have not worked, consider your interactions with staff and students at Chisholm and in your studies at other facilities. It is not meant to be a single situation or a time in your personal life. Write a brief reflection (400-800 words) that incorporates the following key points:
