This is assessment three of three for this unit.
This is a summative assessment.
This assessment is single sided.
It is an open book assessment.
This is a classroom assessment and must be completed individually.
All questions are to be answered correctly to be deemed Satisfactory in the assessment.The cover page and the assessor receipt sheet must be completed in full when you hand in the assessment.

This assessment must be handed in by the due date or it will be deemed an automatic NYS. If that is the case the student will be charged a re-assessment fee if the assessors deems it NYS when they mark it.

Assessment must be word processed.
You are to use Font Arial 12 for the body of the Project – headings may be in Arial 14. Ask your assessors if you do not understand a question. Whilst your assessor cannot give you the answer he she may be able to re word the question so it is easier for you to understand.

Project 1:-
You are the supervisor of a group of 15 workers in a hospitality business (example – A Hotel Tourism Travel Catering Restaurant etc.)

You have been asked to plan and organise a number of work group activities in relation to measuring current resource use and devising strategies to improve usage.

Part 1:-
Conduct a meeting with 4 of your classmates as your work group and explain to the trainer how you plan to measure and improve resource usage and how it is to be implemented

Now produce a report of your meeting(Example – research, recommendations and the discussions of your meeting)

Meeting notes – Topics discussed (measure improve implement)

Trainer to complete having observed the group meeting

1.Develop a plan to monitor resource use and improvements for environmental performance as a result of the activities undertaken by your work group.(example- monitoring could be in a form of developing a checklist)
