Assessment 1: Individual Assessment Articles Collection &Structured Abstract
Undertake a literature review on a theoretical concept/construct of dining consumption in a restaurant context that has real world management implications (e.g., Services, staff empathy, consumer decision making, customer satisfaction, behavioural intention, customer perception of authenticity, motivation, dining experience etc.).

The first article (article 1) must be a conceptual research paper which proposes a theory. Other 3 research papers should be related to dining consumption in the restaurant context that has real world management implications. Each of 3 research articles must have applied ‘qualitative’, ‘quantitative’ and ‘mixed’ research design method respectively. While the first article could either be book or journal and published at any time, other 3 research articles must be journal articles published in peer review journals, and were published on 2015 or later. Also note that first research paper should provide the theoretical foundation for other 3 research papers.

Please note that all research articles must be full papers (e.g., not research notes, book reviews) sourced from refereed academic journals. Please review them and write a 1500-word structured abstract, which draws upon all the articles you have reviewed, using the following headings:

• Brief summary of the theory and progression in the field (i.e., how has the theory developed since first proposed?)
• Common themes/findings across the four articles.
• Different themes/findings across the four articles.
• Study limitations and how these differ across the various study designs (quantitative, qualitative).
• Future research directions proposed in the articles.
• Reviewers’ critical evaluation of the reviewed articles.
