Q. Do I need to follow a template?
Yes, you can find a template in the Assessments tile of LMS, titled ‘Annotated Bibliography template’. The attributes that you can choose from are listed in Assessment 1 instructions. This is a Word doc, so you can download it and use it as a template to create your Annotated Bibliography.

Q. Where can I get help?
There are several resources available in the Academic Resources tile of LMS. These resources include
links to the Learning Hub, videos for support with Turnitin, and Studiosity.

Q. Where does Part A need to be submitted?
Assessment 1: Part A- Annotated Bibliography needs to be submitted via Turnitin on your HLT1IPP LMS site in ‘Assessment 1- Annotated Bibliography Submission’.

Q. What is the due date of Part A?
Your Annotated Bibliography is to be submitted before workshop 5 by 11:59 pm, Sunday 27 March 2022.

Q. What type of feedback should I include in my peer review?
Think about the quality of the articles sourced. Were the articles peer-reviewed? Has a good summary of the article been provided? Does the article reflect the attribute chosen? Were there any issues with referencing APA style? A few comments in the comments area at the bottom of the rubric will help your peer to prepare for Assessment 2, and to be provided with feedback on what they can work on, or what was done well.

Q. Where do I submit my Part B- Peer review?
After you have completed your peer review, you need to submit the review you completed of your
peer via Turnitin on your HLT1IPP LMS site in ‘Assessment 1-Annoatated Bibliography Review Submission’.

Q. What is the due date of my Part B- Peer Review?
Your Peer review is due by 5pm on day of your workshop 5.

Q. What do I include when submitting my peer review?
Make sure both of your names are clearly written on the peer review rubric; with the author of the Annotated Bibliography stated, and your name as the reviewer. You are submitting your review of your peer, e.g., you have reviewed Jane Johnson’s Annotated Bibliography; hence, your submission would be titled as Peer review of Jane Johnson’s Annotated Bibliography (Make sure your surnames are included, as there might be other students with the same name as you!). You do not submit your own rubric or review in this submission space, your peer will be submitting their review of your work in this submission space.

Q. Is the peer review my peer gives me my final grade for this assessment?
Your peer will score you against the criteria on rubric and provide additional comments/ feedback.Your facilitator will then review your Annotated Bibliography submission and the review scored by your peer and either agree or disagree and apply a final mark. Additionally, your facilitator will also assess the effectiveness of your review and participation in review. Therefore, you need to be constructive and realistic in your peer review. Simply awarding a high score will not guarantee your peer a high mark. Your facilitator will be assessing if the score applied is fair and realistic.

Q. Can I make changes to my original Annotated Bibliography submission, or my peer’s review if I am not happy with my peer’s review?
Your Annotated Bibliography will have already been submitted, so any changes cannot be made. You
cannot make any changes to your peer’s review of your work; they are submitting their review of your work, and you cannot alter their review. Your facilitator will be comparing your previously submitted Annotated Bibliography to your peer’s review of your work. The Annotated Bibliography that you share in Workshop 5 with a peer must be the one you submitted prior to Workshop 5.
