For this assessment, you are required to present your personal and reflective opinions and thoughts in a reflective journal piece of 500 words.

of culturally competent nursing care. Scenarios depicting different aspects of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural diversity and concerns will be used to address the importance and benefits of cultural awareness and understanding for the nursing professional.
You will develop critical skills as you communicate thoughts, feelings and experiences. You will also be expected to express how the scenarios, and knowledge gained from the subject will guide you going forward professionally.
Reflective writing is evidence of reflective thinking, and is a process where students can learn from their experiences.
